ISG, a division of Nectar Inc., is seeking a Placement Coordinator to establish partnerships with physician assistant program sites, ensuring that students successfully complete their clinical rotations. The Placement Coordinator plays a crucial role in developing relationships with clinical placement sites where students gain hands-on experience in their field.

Our priority is always the relationships built among students, sites, and university partners to ensure a high-quality clinical experience.

Responsibilities:

The Physician Assistant Placement Coordinator will work solely to contact qualified preceptors and to help with student clinical rotations.

  • Cold-calling partners or other stakeholders to help secure a database of qualified preceptors
  • Researches new potential preceptors for students to complete their healthcare clinical rotations.
  • Communicate with preceptors to set clear expectations for the placement process and to provide updates throughout the process.
  • Exhibit professional conduct through all interactions as a representative of the company and the department.
  • Achieves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to student placement.
  • Adheres to company and university partners’ data privacy policies.
  • Ensure student success by securing timely clinical placements with physician assistant clinical sites, preventing delays in course progression.
  • Manage relationships with existing clinical partners to ensure successful experiences for all students.
  • Maintain knowledge of university partners’ curricula and effectively communicate program details to clinical sites.
  • Collaborate with university partners to address placement-related concerns and needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the university, clinical sites, and students.
  • Research new clinical sites for students to complete physician assistant program rotations.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to student placement.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication via phone, Zoom, and email.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of clinical sites in multiple online systems while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Track and document clinical placement assignments.
  • Adhere to company and university data privacy policies

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (required)
  • 2+ years experience in higher education or social work
  • Customer service experience in a metrics-driven environment supporting students
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent time management skills who will take ownership of their job, and is disciplined to independently plan workflow to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slack), Salesforce, or other field placement software
  • Professional and effective communication skills, outstanding customer service background, and highly organized and accomplished at problem-solving in a metrics-driven environment
  • Comfortable communicating and establishing rapport in a professional manner via phone and email

The requirements for success in a virtual work-at-home role include:

  • Workspace – Must be able to provide a dedicated, confidential workspace which includes a door that can be closed for privacy
  • High-speed internet – Must provide employee-paid, high-speed internet service (5MB or higher connection speed); no dial-up or satellite dish connections
  • Must have a working desktop or laptop that is supported by Mac or Windows operating systems
