- Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and finance teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposal alignment.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of DoD funding priorities, guidelines, and submission platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, Grants.gov).
- Prepare and submit Letters of Intent (LOIs), white papers, and pre-proposals when required.
- Track submissions, maintain a calendar of deadlines, and coordinate post-submission follow-ups.
- Contribute to the development of standard templates, boilerplate content, and proposal toolkits.

- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience, preferably with DoD agencies such as:

- National Defense Education Program (NDEP)
- STARBASE, Nunn-Perry, or related initiatives
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without extensive oversight.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with federal funding systems (SAM.gov, Grants.gov, eBRAP, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., GPC) a plus.
